Welcome to our 400th edition of the Stamp Bulletin.
Stamp Bulletin 400 begins with an exciting launch of our first ever DigiStamps on 2 March 2026. A DigiStamp is a physical stamp that comes with a free digital collectable counterpart. The physical stamp can be used for postal services, while the digital collectable provides access to a collectable image. Put a stamp on history by purchasing an Australia Post first.
On 10 March 2026, WB Gould’s Sketchbook of Fishes, showcases the watercolours of convict artist William Buelow Gould and artwork that is now cherished in the UNESCO Australian Memory of the World Register.
Our The Art of Eileen Mayo stamp issue, released on 17 March 2026, explores the iconic Australian stamp and poster artwork of British-born artist Eileen Mayo. Her work gained international acclaim and in 1960, her platypus was awarded equal first place by the British Stamp Collector’s Annual.
Closing out our March releases is Photography Australia, released 24 March 2026, capturing defining moments in our country’s social history from three iconic Australian photographers.
On the 7 April 2026, we celebrate the life of the late British monarch in 100 Years: Birth of Queen Elizabeth II. Born on the 21 April 1926, Queen Elizabeth II was just 25 when she acceded to the throne.
Our final release for April, Preparing for Peace: World War I Posters, released on 14 April 2026, showcases the posters released after World War I for peace bonds. These posters appealed to emotions such as patriotism, thrift, gratitude and hope.
