Put new names to familiar faces
A new stamp and coin collection will be released at 8:30am on 4 November 2026. Our Animals, Our Country is brought to life by acclaimed Gudanji, Wakaja and Kalkadoon artist Ryhia Dank, aka nardurna, whose distinctive style captures the movement, spirit and significance of animals in Aboriginal culture.
Ryhia's work reflects the deep relationships between language, land and storytelling. Six Australian animals appear in her signature style, alongside their names in Gudanji language.
There are more than 20 collectables to discover, including special coloured coins created in collaboration with the Royal Australian Mint, 5-coin Folder and Tube Set (hero), $1 Privy mark Coin in Card, $2 coloured coin, Stamp Pack, PNC, Medallion Cover and more.
